also 75), Il. 19.77; pl. ἕδραι, rows of seats, e. g.
stone benches in the ἀγορά, Od. 8.16; and elsewhere, e. g. Od. 3.7
; τίειν ἕδρῃ, honor ‘with a
seat,’ i. e. show to a place of honor.
