KRAMBOVOS (Kastanochorion) Arkadia, Greece.

Locality on the road from Isoma to Ano Karyes, E of Mt. Lykaion. The peribolos of a settlement, a small thesauros or cistern (3 x 2 m), and a temple have been identified with Kretea and a Sanctuary of Apollo Parrhasios located in its neighborhood (Paus. 8.38.2-8). On the remains of the archaic temple a later building was erected, which survived in poor condition. The finds include fragments of Geometric vases and iron and bronze objects, and are in the National Museum at Athens.
