drawn up by Eubulus, not by me; the next in order by Aristophon; then we have
Hegesippus, then Aristophon again, then Philocrates, then Cephisophon, and so
on. I proposed no decree dealing with these matters. Go on reading.“Decree[In the archonship of Neocles, on the thirtieth day of
Boedromion, by sanction of the Council, the Presidents and Generals
introduced the report of the proceedings in the Assembly, to wit, that the
People had resolved that ambassadors be chosen to approach Philip concerning
the removal of the vessels, and instructions be given them in accordance
with the decrees of the Assembly. The following were chosen: Cephisophon,
son of Cleon, of Anaphlystus, Democritus, son of Demophon, of Anagyrus,
Polycritus, son of Apemantus, of Cothocidae. In the presidence of the tribe
Hippothontis, proposed by Aristophon, of Collytus, a
