ἐμβλέψασα is a slightly strengthened “βλέψασα”, implying a more intent gaze; cp. Plat. Ion 535E “δεινὸν ἐμβλέποντας”, ‘with stern countenances.’— θράσοςὁπλίζει: the acc. as with “ἀμφιέννυσθαι”, etc.: Schneidewin cp. Anthol. Pal. 5. 93 “ὥπλισμαι πρὸς Ἔρωτα περὶ στέρνοισι λογισμόν”.
