[205] ἀβληχρῷ κώματι: 'the stupor of exhaustion'; cf. ἀβληχρὸς θάνατος, Od. 11. 135. Curt. explains the form as ἀ prothet. and βληχρός (4. 152) connected with μαλακός. The notion of the Schol. and Et. Mag. (200, 14) that βληχρός = ἰσχυρός is without foundation.
