Dem. 18, and Philoch. frag. 135, Φιλίππου δὲ καταλαβόντος Ἐλάτειαν καὶ Κυτίνιον, καὶ πρέσβεις πέμψαντος εἰς Θήβας Θετταλῶν, Αἰνιανῶν, Αἰτωλῶν, Δολόπων, Φθιωτῶν: Ἀθηναίων δὲ κατὰ τὸν αὐτὸν χρόνον πρέσβεις ἀποστειλάντων τοὺς περὶ Δημοσθένη, τούτοις συμμαχεῖν ἐψηφίσαντο. 8. ὅτι...λέγω is connected with λέγε (9) by a suppressed phrase like to show. See Krüger, Gr. Gr. 65, 1, Anm. 6. 10. ἣν τότ᾽ ἐπέμψαμεν: opposed to νῦν λέγω (8).
