2. τὸν καιρὸν: see Aesch. 137— 141 and 237—239; esp. δ᾽ εἰσάγων ἦν ὑμᾶς εἰς τὰς Θήβας καιρὸς καὶ φόβος καὶ χρεία συμμαχίας, ἀλλ̓ οὐ Δημοσθένης (141).

3. ὡς ἑτέρως: see note on § 85.6.

4. τύχην: see Aesch. 157.

7. συναίτιος, partner, opposed to μόνος αἴτιος (9).—τῶν...ἀτυχηθέντων ῀ἃ ἠτυχήσαμεν.
