πάνθ᾽ ὁρῶν: as Philoctetes says to Odysseus, Ph. 1013“ἀλλ᾽ ἡ κακὴ σὴ διὰ μυχῶν βλέπουσ᾽ ἀεὶ ι ψυχή κ.τ.λ.”, ‘thy base soul, ever peering from some ambush.’ The conjecture “πάντα δρῶν” is not only weak, but incorrect, since the sense would require “πᾶν δρῶν”. ἁπάντων τ̓. It is needless to change τ̓ to δ̓: though “δέ” often occurs thus in ‘epanaphora,’ as Ant. 806“τὰν νεάταν ὁδὸν ι στείχουσαν, νέατον δὲ φέγγος λεύσσουσαν” (n.). Here the case for δ̓ would be stronger if “ἅπανθ̓” (and not “πάνθ̓”) had preceded. κακῶν ὄργανον: cp. Ph. 407(of Odysseus) “ἔξοιδα γάρ νιν παντὸς ἂν λόγου κακοῦ ι γλώσσῃ θιγόντα καὶ πανουργίας”.
