Second “ἐπεισόδιον”. Antigone, brought before Creon, avows and justifies her deed. Creon declares that she shall die. Ismene, when led in (531), associates herself with the act, but is not permitted by her sister to claim any part in it. Creon orders that both sisters shall be kept prisoners.

ἐκείνη, she whom we sought: cp. O. C. 138ὅδ᾽ ἐκεῖνος ἐγώ”, n.
