σὺ δ᾽ οὐκ ἐπαιδεῖ; And art thou not ashamed of it (cp. “ἐπαισχύνομαι”), if thou thinkest otherwise than they do?— thinkest, namely, that thou art free to act on thy own views, regardless of thy king. For the sake of argument, he concedes their possible sympathy with her, but insists on their loyal behaviour. She answers, ‘No, I am not ashamed, for I am doing nothing shameful.’
